Village People Weekend 2019

This May, Village People Weekend returns to Manchester’s Gay Village for it’s sixth year! This Big Bank Holiday Event will take place in Sackville Gardens in the heart of the village so get ready to party in

the park! Headlining the event are the Vengaboys, playing all of their classic hits including “We Like To Party” and “Boom, Boom, Boom”. 

Other headline acts include Big Brovaz, The Cheeky Girls, Angie Brown and Britain’s Got Talent’s Kevin Cruise. The event will be hosted by the ever-fabulous Victoria Secret and supported by a

wealth of local talent throughout the day from all of your favourite village venues.

Village People Weekend is a charity event, supporting the work of Manchester’s own AXM Foundation. The AXM Foundation was established to deliver one of Haydn Pope’s final wishes, and with a

team staffed purely by volunteers, works to help LGBTQ+ individuals and groups in the areas of Health, Poverty, People, Community and Entrepreneurialism. The foundation’s aim is to raise over £10,000 per

year to help the people of Manchester, and 100% of the proceeds from Village People Weekend will be donated to this cause.
