Ducie Street Warehouse launches weekend brunch menu

As part of its new ground floor offering, Ducie Street Warehouse has launched a weekend brunch menu, which will be available from 10am – 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Available in both the lounge and the restaurant, dishes include lightly sautéed heritage tomatoes on toast, steak and eggs with chimichurri and French toast with blueberry jam, fresh blueberries & crème fraiche to name but a few.

The menu includes both vegetarian and vegan options, with a full drinks list, including teas, coffees, juices and cocktails.

Despite the most recent announcements, and having booked, we had a short wait for our table, as a member of the floor team thoroughly cleaned down our booth following the departure of the previous incumbents, as the entire area was occupied in one way or another.

Good to see the place busy and buzzing, but definiately NOT crowded or lacking in social distance.

The brunch steaks were good. Three minute (that is 60 second not small) steaks were cooked perfectly with a nicely soft fried egg on top. The chimichurri dressing was nicely tangy too.

My Full English was equally good with plenty of variety including, Sausage, crispy bacon, Black pudding and their own receipe baked beans with quite a spicy kick.

As we were past the yard arm, we accompanied the delicious food with a lovely bottle of Merchant's Rose by renowned Berry Bros.

Both main dishes were nicely filling and good value for money, especially with our equally tasty 10% off as Canal St Card holders.

This is applied to the entire bill and applies at all times when visiting this stylish, contemporary venue.

The ground floor is fast becoming a haven for those who like to work and socialise in the Northern Quarter, with the Lounge offering co-working space during the day, offering a selection of food and drink via Counter, as well as the new Gooey cabin, selling its mouth-watering range of cookies and brioche donuts.
