Annies Manchester

We went for dinner one Thursday night before going to the Royal Exchange. We really enjoyed it. My starter of Bury black pudding, bacon and egg on a toasted muffin was a witty homage to breakfast and just the right size.

My wife and I both chose the fish pie for our main course; it was a very good size and absolutely piping hot. And delicious.

Jennie came round and chatted to us, which thrilled my Corrie-mad wife! Really nice home-style cooking.
