7 DAY YOGA AND WELLNESS RETREAT FOR GAY MEN 27 AUGUST - 3 SEPTEMBER 2019 AZURE is all about rest, relaxation and re-aligning. A chance to break the cycle even if it is just for one week and enjoy an alternative holiday and return home refreshed and relaxed. Since we opened our doors, we have had requests to create a package for the LGBTQ community, a week for like minded people to enjoy a break that’s all about pressing re-set. Having now found the perfect duo to host, KURTIS and STEPHEN, we are delighted to announce our very first Gay retreat.

Kurtis and Stephen, are on hand to create an accepting, open and social space, both are real ‘people’ people and have years of experience in hospitality. The week will focus on wellness, community, and fun. Enjoy clean eating - our cuisine is vegetarian, organic and delicious and we don’t serve alcohol, some of you may recoil at the thought of no meat and alcohol for a week, but we guarantee that you will feel the benefits after just one week. (For those of you who feel ‘the call of the wild’ there are plenty of cafe bars and restaurants close by). Daily yoga and meditation with yoga instructor Dean Dalton-@deanldalton - don't worry about not being a pretzel ….most of our guests are yoga beginners, and have found their yoga experience rewarding and enjoyable.

Our instructors cater to every level and classes are small, allowing time for individual attention. The fun part - it’s your holiday and of course, we also want you to have lots of fun. To start your week, you will visit the hammam for a traditional Turkish bath, which involves skin exfoliation and being beaten with a pillow full of bubbles - and leaves you feeling so clean and your skin sun-ready, you will spend a day at sea - sailing around the beautiful Bodrum peninsula, swimming and sunbathing, visit the beautiful fishing village of Gumusluk, and its artisan market, watch the gorgeous sunset while dining in one of the fabulous restaurants. Spend a day in Bodrum, visit the castle maybe do a spot of shopping, Ali’s BBQ night. For wine lovers, we have found the perfect day out! The vineyard tour in Mumcular, 5km roads of vines that produce, good quality, totally organic Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Sauvignon blanc, Muscat and Chardonnay. Taste the grapes, visit the vats and then its wine tasting and nibbles on the beautiful terrace of the antique stone house, try the olives produced in the Autumn and Winter season. A truly wonderful day out.

For those of you who want to chill out, there is a pool which super comfortable loungers, as well as quiet shady spots, to enjoy peace and tranquility, the beach is just 5 minutes away, and heading into town is a short walk or an inexpensive cab ride. The retreat is perfect for solo travellers, there are no single supplements, meals times and yoga classes are communal, couples are also very welcome, and we offer a discount for group bookings. Our week-long retreat costs £700 and includes: Airport transfers (Bodrum Milas Airport) 7 nights accommodation in our newly renovated hotel or our gorgeous lotus belle tents, on a full board basis.
