Vanilla is 20

One of the Villages most successful bars, will celebrate reaching a milestone 20 this weekend.

This makes Vanilla the oldest girl bar in Europe.

Steph Kay MD explains how inspirational it is to be still pushing the scene forward,  and is happy take into it’s third decade.

Stephs dream was to open a bar dedicated to women and their friends, having been a powerful general manager for the Manto group back in the day.

Steph says “I can remember getting the keys to the old Dotz bar and thinking this it, I’m going to work so hard to make Vanilla work “ it was an instant success often described as the missing jigsaw to complete the Village , and was welcomed and respected by all the other venues at that time.

These days, Vanilla prides itself on playing current music and is always packed with young people.

On the night, the team there will be giving 1000 free drinks away , plus lots of Vanilla memorabilia.

Long may she reign.

We all look forward to seeing you at the party, with more information via the link below.
