The Village People Weekend announce details for 2020

Consisting of a wide variety of events hosted in venues across Manchester’s Gay Village with the highlight of the weekend taking place in Sackville Gardens on Sunday 10th of May with the RETURN of Victoria Secret as your host for the day.

The Sunday hosts our live outdoor concert called ‘Party in The Park’ featuring a variety of local and international acts gracing the main stage including headliners

Our FIRST HEADLINER of 2020 will be Adore Delano from season 6 of RuPauls DragRace.

Over the years, the weekend has seen stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race take to the stage along with Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus, legendary singer and star of the new BBC One series ‘All Together Now’ Kelly Wilde and Eurovision’s Sonia Evans to name a few. So, with your support, we are aiming to showcase even more well known famous acts this year to ensure we bring as many people as we can to our Gay Village.

Thank you all for your support in each and every way since the launch of Village People Weekend. The preparations for the big May bank holiday weekend have started and it's full steam ahead at VPW Head Quarters right now.

ONCE AGAIN we are working closely with Manchester City Council and introducing a ticket charge for entry to Sackville Gardens for the ‘Party in the Park’ live outdoor event with £1 of every ticket going directly to the upkeep of Sackville Garden's our community park within the village.

We are here to support you too, so please do not hesitate to contact us any time via email villagepeopleweekend@live.com
