Waterfront Build-to-Rent Development - The Green Rooms @ MediaCityUK Opens its Doors to Residents
After two years of construction, MediacityUK’s very first Build-to-Rent development, The Green Rooms, has finally opened its doors to residents. The development is owned by IP Investment Management with AmroLiving as onsite building operator and Peel L&P as developer. The development is an exciting residential addition to MediaCityUK and sits along the Manchester Ship Canal, a few minutes from BBC’s headquarters and Coronation Street Studios.
The 19-storey, high-rise residential building comprises 238 units offering state-of-the-art amenities for renters to enjoy in the heart of the creative, tech and digital destination. An iconic feature of The Green Rooms will be the lobby, where the UK’s largest contemporary fresco will be created and installed by artists, Aster Muro. The piece is being created on site by Aster Muro who are being assisted by four foundation students from Manchester School of Art.
Delaney Eastwood, Lettings Manager of AmroLiving and The Green Rooms said “We are super excited to bring this new concept of renting to Media City and Manchester, we offer some of the highest quality of property and furnishings for our tenants. We strive to stand out above the rest and to keep all of our tenants happy and we really do put them first above everything else. Our design stands out above the other developments, with creating a contemporary feel and some amazing art pieces, it really does feel like home instead of ‘just another apartment block in the skyline’.
