Stillnox by Martin Seraphin

Stillnox is the solo project founded in 2002 by Martin Seraphin. Before this he was a vocalist and lyricist in a ‘Rock Goth’ band called Oblivion which he founded in Poland in 1999. One demo was recorded. After this, Martin started to make music on his own. A few demos were recorded and quite a few gigs played.

When he moved to UK in 2006 Martin lost his passion to make music and only once every few years went back to his laptop to start over. Although impressed by his own music, he didn't see the need to make anything of it;  thinking, “who would listen to it”?

That said, this year, inspired by a few events, and attributing his lack of confidence to a "mid-life crisis". Martin decided to start again. His thinking was, “it's never to late to fulfil your dreams”.His goal was to reach people's hearts, hoping that they might find a bit of themselves in his lyrics. So, his dream is to release an album.

Anyone who is interested in some music collaboration is welcome to contact Martin. Also collaboration with photographers. Although it would be very nice, Martin doesn’t expect to earn anything from this project but please do get in touch if you are into this kind of music, or you host events that could accommodate the small gig/performance. Martin admits that as he has been away for so many years from the Goth/Indie scene he doesn’t even know where to start looking for audience.

His album called ‘Mercury’ is almost finished apart from a few final mixes and artwork. Once these are finalised, he will be ready to send it to the printers to have some physical dipacks. He knows that CDs are not selling as much these days but he still wants some, even if only as a souvenir. He will also put it into sites such as itunes, Amazon and Spotify....

The unique thing about this album is that Martin got four famous female singers from various corners of dark music to record songs with him and those, in his opinion, came out totally great.
