Smart new Barriers put in place on Canal St

With the latest 'Village Clean Up' organised for this weekend, we noted another addition to Canal St this week by way of shiny new barriers painted with Rainbow Bees on each one.

Whilst aesthetically pleasing to observe, they are, of course, there to pedestrianise the street for ease of movement,  aswell as to protect our community from random acts of disruption or violence.

With the Community 'Queen Bee due to be installed early next week too, this creates a real feel that the Gay Village is gently enjoying an upgrade in its appearance and together with the record sunshine and temperatures, is definititely a 'go to' spot in the near future.
