Marco Pierre White is visiting his Manchester restaurant Mr White’s English Chophouse at Velvet Hotel later this month to host an exclusive dinner party.

The world-renowned chef and restaurateur will offer fans and foodie-lovers the chance to dine with him on Monday 26th November at his restaurant on Canal Street.

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and treated to a delicious three course meal overseen by the rock star chef himself.

They will also receive a signed cookbook and have the opportunity to chat to him and ask their culinary questions. Tickets cost £55 and are now available to purchase.

The menu for the evening will include a selection of classic Marco starters, including baked camembert fondue, seared scallops with black pudding, crisp pancetta, cauliflower purée, or locally sourced smoked salmon properly garnished with bread and butter.

The main menu features his signature dish of honey roasted bacon chop Marco polo glaze, spiced honey roasting juices, box tree red cabbage, apple sauce, fondant potato.

The desserts are decadent treats with warm treacle tart with clotted cream, Mr White’s rice pudding with sherry-soaked prunes, dark chocolate mousse or a selection of artisan cheeses and breads.

General Manager at Mr White’s English Chophouse Manchester, Stephen Donnelly, said: “We’re really excited to welcome Marco to the restaurant. So, if you have a question for one of the founding fathers of modern day cooking then I highly recommend coming along to this event. Marco is a fascinating character that has plenty of riveting and excellent anecdotes to share.

“It promises to be an excellent evening complete with stunning food from our a la carte menu.”
