Manchester Food and Drink Festival returns
Loire Bucket List
This weekend Manchester Food and Drink Festival is back, and it’s bigger than ever. With lots of street food and drinks on the hub and plenty of fringe events for everyone.
One for the wine lovers is the Loire Bucket list. Along with gorgeous Loire Valley Wines Truck on the MFDF hub offering free samples of wines from the region, you can also explore their wines further with their wine trail.
The Loire region has a range of climates and so offers a range of wine styles. From a soft fizzy Cremant-de-Loire to deep rich reds, it’s got something to suit all tastes. On Saturday and Sunday this weekend (18 and 19 September) their little wine truck will allow you to sample a range of wines from the region for free throughout the day.
But if you want to explore further (and we think that you will) then you can visit one of the venues on their wine trail. Running from Grape to Grain in the north of Manchester, through the city centre at Flok and Tom’s Chophouse, all the way down to The Oystercatcher and Man Bites Frog in the south.
The Bucket List has already been hosted in cities including Liverpool, London and Bristol, and the idea is to showcase their range of wines, and offer everything from full bottles on the menu to fully guided tastings, allowing you to explore this region of France from our fair city.
To find out more, head over to their website, or to the MFDF hub this weekend.
