Sex Tourism in Thailand Research
Have you ever had sex in Thailand? With a partner or someone new?
Have you been to an adult entertainment show in Thailand?
Do you have a partner that is based in Thailand that you visit, or that visits you?
Or are you someone who normally travels for sex but can’t because of COVID-19?
A piece of research is being carried out at Liverpool John Moores University, that aims to help protect and support those who have travelled, travel, or intend to travel, for some form of sex – planned or unplanned! We want to know about your experiences such as how you plan for your trip, what happens when you’re abroad and what you do when you return to the UK. Sexual activities in Thailand can be anything from going to a ping pong show in Bangkok, a one night stand or a long term/long distance relationship…and everything in between.
We are holding ‘interviews’ which are more very informal chats that last however long you want to talk for and cover as much as you want to talk about. The conversations will be recorded but will always be anonymous and confidential.
If you are interested, over 18 years, a UK resident and speak English, we would love to hear from you.
