Alert date announced for July

Alert! is a monthly night for guys who prefer something different. With music provided by local and international DJs, Alert! offers a safe, inclusive environment with plenty of dark spaces to explore your perversions. Coming to Alert! is a great chance to give your latest fetish gear an airing, in a welcoming atmosphere full of some of the horniest, sexiest men around, great music and the promise of a fantastic night.  The event attracts people from all over the North West, from London, Scotland and even Europe and is a cornerstone of Manchester’s Rubber, Skinhead and Leather weekends as well as Manchester Pride.

Alert! has spawned several spin-off events: Alert! LITE (a non-dress-code introduction to the main night), Brief Encounter (an underwear night) and Red Alert! (a more ‘specialised’ event – if you need to ask what the ‘Red’ stands for, you’d blush if we told you!)  The event started fourteen years ago as a way to meet the need for a regular social event for guys who didn’t quite fit into the Canal Street model of the early 2000s (think Queer as Folk camp). Originally it was held in Manchester’s much-loved and sadly missed Legends nightclub, and now, via several changes of venue, takes place at Night People, a basement club on at the bottom end of the village.

Next Events:

Saturday July 7th 10:30pm -3:30am (Members special offer: £6 entry with membership card)

Saturday August 4th 10:30pm – 3:30am Alert! LITE (No dress code)

Friday August 24th 10:00pm – 4:00 am (Manchester Pride Special)

(No event in September because of the proximity to Pride)
