Singin In The Rain

Singin In The Rain

Take a trip back in time to see Singin' In The Rain that has arrived on its tour at Manchester Opera House.

Direct from the West End, this critically acclaimed production is a smash hit with critics and audiences alike.  It tells the story of the
first Hollywood musical, when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies - and some of its stars – behind.  This spectacular
show is packed full of the charm, romance, comedy and tinseltown glamour of one the world’s best loved movies and features all the songs
from the glorious MGM score including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh, Moses Supposes and the classic Singin’ in the Rain.

Screen star Maxwell Caulfield plays studio boss R F Simpson and Steps & West End leading lady Faye Tozer is the ‘uniquely voiced’ starlet Lina Lamont in this classic musical, full of high energy choreography and sumptuous set design (including 12,000 litres of water!).  Singin’ in the Rain showers you with everything you could wish for in a hit musical!

The vocal talents of the company involved will you have dancing in your seat.  There is great comedic moments, especially from Faye Tozer who provides a stella performance.  However, Stephane Anelli who plays Cosmo Brown steals the show for his excellent and spot on comedic
timing, comic facial expressions and will have you roaring with laughter.  A well created set awaits you, but ensure you sit towards
the back if you do not want to get wet!  You are truly transported to Hollywoodland by the company, sets and lighting involved.

It is no wonder that this touring production is drawing huge crowds and a lot of television interest.  It is well worthy of the money and will leave you wanting to return and see it all again.  However, hurry fast as this is sure to be one hot ticket in Manchester.  There will be no surprises that it leaves audiences giving a standing ovation and shouting for more.

A wonderfully written musical, well known songs that are instantly recognisable, you'll forget that you are in the modern world and will
be taken back to a time long forgotten!  Suitable for all members of the family, it will be loved by all.

Hurry now and get your tickets fast, as Singin' In The Rain is only on at Manchester Opera House until Saturday 30th November.

A well deserved 5 out of 5 star rating!
