Legally Blonde

Legally Blonde

Legally Blonde the Musical has come to the Manchester Opera House.  Starring Faye Brookes as Elle Woods, Iwan Lewis as Emmett, Claire Sweeney as Paulette, Neil Toon as Warner and of course, not forgetting Bruiser the dog!

Legally Blonde has won the Best Musical at the Olivier Awards 2011, which is no surprise when seeing this larger than life production.  Although the sets were simple, the acting and singing draws you in to the story of challenging peoples assumptions about a ditzy, beautiful and bubbly blonde!  Elle chases her recently ex-boyfriend to Havard Law School, in order to prove she is "serious" material, only to find maybe Warner isn't the one she is serious about after all!

Like the movie, Legally Blonde is ultra camp and glitzy.  The singing raises the rafters throughout!  As expected, there is more pink than the eye could see, with girly squeals and sororities.  If you love blonde, girly girls, alongside the occasional hot guy, you best get your pink handbag and stilletos down to the Manchester Opera House as tickets for this show will be like gold dust.

This wonderful show runs until 28th October. For more..
