The Milton Club
Mature, diverse, friendly and fun at The Milton on Deansgate.
When you mention The Milton Club to most people they mostly have heard about it,but rarely have yet been.'I have been meaning to go for ages' or friends of mine went and loved it' are most frequently the responses.
This being the case,we decided to take a look ourselves..
The modest Friday night queue for entry contained a mixed crowd of gender, race and colour.Always encouraging in my view.I even spotted a couple of LGBT couples too.
After a brief 'check in' at reception (age/membership are always double checked to instil confidence)which is carried out by a small, friendly team, its off into the main bar/club area.
The space is dominated by a large rectangular bar which is surrounded by private booths, all of which can be hired privately is thats your taste.Alternatively, large areas are available to enjoy the ambience of the club and with a maximum entry number always observed, then no-one ever feels too crowded.
Musically,The Milton varies a lot depending on the overall theme of the evening.Recent guest appearances by Trevor Nelson, aswell as regular gigs by Viva’s DJ Ems,means that the fun-loving glamorous crowd, attracted here, are always catered for.
The venue is stunning aesthetically and the bar teams remain friendly and helpful right to the end of the evening. Not always the case in some other clubs.
A large glass of Rose at £6.50 didnt break the bank either.Signature cocktails are accompanied by the customary theatre and again are not outrageously priced.
All and all, this first visit to The Milton Club, was an extremely pleasurable one and will certainly be returning..
