A perfect place for a chatty catch up over lunch

Met an old friend for lunch recently who knew about Per Tutti from friends, but just hadnt got around to visiting..

She was already there when i arrived and had been settled in nicely with a lovely glass of Rose.

My Pinot Grigio quickly followed.

As it was a lovely day,large,central windows had been opened,giving this usually light and airy venue an even more 'indoor outdoor feel'.

Mine host Chris settled us at table and we were invited to glance the specials board in addition to the extensive menu of Pizza's, pasta's, Risottos,and selections from the grill.

My friend chose the Mushroom Risotto, served with Rocket and shaved Parmesan and i settled for the daily Sausage special dish,with Pork Sausages settled on a bed of mixed beans.

Both were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed.

More Rose and PG were delivered and we were now full into our overdue catch up.Houses,theatre,gardens and other mutual friends dominated the discussion.

Sadly we were unable to take advantage of the dessert offerings as time was an issue for us both.Another time we agreed.

The service throughout was friendly and efficient without being over present,Something i personally dont appreciate anywhere.

We both also agreed that it was a shame that more outdoor space didnt exist as our lunch could have been enjoyed alfresco.A similar problem affects so many other great restaurants across the city centre.

The decor is however, light, modern and very comfortable, catering for intimate 2's and 4's right through to larger group tables,one of which seemed also to enjoy themselves behind us.

The bill at just £45 (inc the £5 saving on the food bill with our @canalstcard) was very reasonable indeed, for a delightful lunch and a classic chatty catch up.

Highly recommended when in the Liverpool Rd part of town.
