We say goodbye to OUT NW

We say goodbye to OUT NW

Whilst I’m very sad to be saying goodbye to outnorthwest, which I’ve edited and designed for 14 years now, I’m unspeakably proud of everything the magazine has accomplished over the years.

However, there’s no denying the LGB landscape has changed dramatically - especially the way we access information. Sadly a bi-monthly magazine like outnorthwest just can’t compete in an age when we have direct and immediate access to information.

The funding landscape has changed too, and The LGF have a duty to make sure that we spend public money with due care and diligence. The LGF is experiencing significant cuts to its funding and it’s important for us to carefully target our communications to where we believe they will have the maximum impact. So we’ll still be delivering the same level of quality information to our communities through our other channels, and more targeted digital communications.

Finally, I’d just like to thank everyone who ever picked up, read or contributed to outnorthwest. It’s been a real privilege.

Thanks Grahame. 'Resource & Information Manager' LGF.

Lots of info still available here.
