Warrington Pride 2013

Warrington Pride is gearing up for its second annual LGBT celebration which shall be held in Queens Gardens on Saturday the 7th of September 2013. The day starts at 12pm with a parade led by the town's mayor and made up of Warrington Pride partners, supporters and the members of the Warrington LGBT community.

At 1pm the focus shifts to the main stage which is in Queens Gardens and shall be hosted my Canal Street's leading ladies Billie Jean, Belinda Scandal and Misty Chance. After the mayor officially opens the event the party really gets underway with performances not only from your hosts but also soul singer Sam Dickinson, the Wire Choir, Fusion dancers and much more.

This year we have included the acts they we wanted to see on our stage but simply could not afford. Look out for performances for the UKs leading tribute acts, paying homage to Lady Gaga, Adele, Katy Perry and our show stopping headliners Take That. As well as a jam packed stage there is also the market for you to wonder around, the fun fair and much more. At 5.30pm our focus turns to one of respect and reflection with the candlelit vigil with our guest speaker.

The vigil will conclude with a balloon release. Finally the party kicks off again at 9pm over at the Warrington Showbar which is hosted this year by Misty Chance who shall carry the party on until the small hours. Tickets for the event at the Showbar are £5 and they can be bought on the door.
