Village Square for Pride

Village Square  Sunday 26th August We are pleased to announce that the Sunday of Pride is going to be Drag-Tastic day in the Village Square – with a new sponsor of the area the stage is going to be more impressive than ever and all the artists on the Sunday are going to be from Manchester Vibrant Drag Culture, With artists such as :

Lee Star – from Via and New York New York (celebrating 30 years in showbiz this year Lee is looking forward to performing at Manchester Pride again and said The Village Square this year will be the place to be HO HO)
Belinda Scandal – from Belinda’s Showbar ( Said LOVE IT ! local acts doing local people – I mean doing it for local people)

Valentino King – from Via – widely regarded as the best all live performing Drag King in the Uk and a massive supporter of Prides everywhere. ( Drag culture is really taking off again and the King culture is becoming massive and Manchester is now it’s natural home I can’t wait to show The Village Square what us Drag Kings can do.)

Drag-Life – Formed less than a year ago this Drag King “bois” band have been entertaining across Manchester and beyond with a regular slot on the last Sunday of the Month in Via with Valentino King they will delight the crowd with a few camp reworked classics)

Kitty Vajazzle – Faux Drag Queen – up and coming burlesque performer
