Village Bar Wins - MEN Award - Best Night Out 2011

The Manchester Tourism Awards 2011 where held at the Lowry Hotel this Friday and Manchester voted to award the 'Best Night Out' to Village favourite Taurus, a regular winner of awards over its 10 year history.

The Manchester Tourism Awards is a celebration of tourism excellence across Greater Manchester. It recognises the £5.5bn that the industry contributes to the local economy and the 77,000 full time equivalent jobs it supports. The 'Best Night Out' award is voted for by the general public and is one of the most coveted awards.

Marketing Manchester asked its social media followers to help pull together a shortlist of five venues, which where:
