3.30 – 4.00 pm 'Social Time' with a chance to make new friends and socialise before our meeting starts.

Session One
4.00 – 4.10 pm Open the meeting, welcome and introductions

4.10-5.15 pm Hate Crime Week Event. Tony Lloyd, Manchester’s Police Commissioner discusses Greater Manchester’s New Hate Crime initiatives.
And wishes to hear your experiences with reporting Hate Crime

Session Two
5.15-5.45 pm Social time and Refreshments - a further chance to socialise, make new friends and ask the committee members and speakers questions.

Session Three
5.45 – 6.30 pm Cancer Awareness Support Session
The Christie and Macmillan Cancer Support groups are delivering a cancer awareness project called Let's be clear - get it checked!
The project offers an opportunity to promote awareness and early diagnosis of breast, bowel and lung cancer in Manchester and Tameside and Glossop. This session is designed to; promote cancer awareness messages within their communities, interactive sessions with quizzes, a breast model and bowel bingo. Adopting more of a light-hearted approach to getting the message across about bowel cancer screening kits.

6.30-7.00 pm Reports & Announcements - Announcements (main ones), NW TransListings, TransForum Website, Butterflies and members announcements

7.00 pm Prompt Close meeting and Depart for meal at a choice of Trans Friendly restaurant.

The TransForum meetings last until approximately 7.00 pm when the group goes for a meal at a local restaurant. We usually book a table for approx 7:15 pm for a 7:30 pm meal.
Average cost of the meal at the restaurant is £13-16; depending on your choice of food and consumption of alcohol! If you just want to come for the meal, please contact Jenny-Anne on 07500-741955 or email: jennyannebuk@yahoo.co.uk

Again this year, 2014, we are usually meeting on the 4th Saturday afternoon of the Month at 4:00pm (Access from 3.30pm), in the usual venue for our meetings: The Lesbian & Gay Foundation, 2nd floor, 5 Richmond Street Manchester, M1 3HF.
