The House of Decay, Manchester premiere underground queer vogue house proudly invite you to a night of queer celebration, music and dance at their first annual vogue ball. The ball is open to all and is an opportunity for us to champion and empower our community through music, dance and togetherness

The theme is Red so use your creativity and interpret that as you will, the ball is all about freedom of expression and living out our fantasies, so no matter who you are or whether you have vouged before or not come and get involved and celebrate what it means to be part of a community

This is a ATTITUDE FREE ZONE. 

Judges to be announced. 

Categories are;

ALL categories are RED themed .

POST MORTEM REALNESS (Realness passing off as that ego or character etc)

This category is based on realness, passing off as that alter ego or making us believe thats your truth. You will be judge on passableness and look (walking category)

SEEING RED ELEGANZA (Fantasy/ couture)

Are you angry about something? Bring your biggest and most couture looks, you will be judge on look. (walking category)

Gothic Solo New way (vogue) 

Gothic looks we will expect some bits of black but not completely black, judge on new way skills (voguing category)

Gothic Solo Femme (vogue)

Gothic looks we will expect some bits of black but not completely black, judge on femme skills (voguing category)

2HOT4BLOODCLOT FUCKED'N'BUSTED/FIRST TIME AT A BALL (Trashy/New comers)

Come as trashy and messy as possible, great category for those not familiar with balls or vogue culture. (walking category)

FACE

A beat for the gods, (judged on make up presentation only)

Red Carpet Ready - RUNWAY (What it says on the tin, but this is a walk off with other participants)

JSKY - will be you're MC for the evening and will be performing his debut single 'Myself' produced by Damon Hess.

DJs for the evening will be Cvnt Traxxx and Kim Lana
