The Edge Chorlton

The Edge is a small Theatre and Arts Centre, presenting high quality theatre, creative workshops, classes and courses for adults and families. You'll find them on Manchester Road, in Chorlton in the grounds of the Methodist Church - a haven of arts and culture in this bustling suburb South of the City.

The Edge produces and presents small-scale theatre of the highest quality. They also run regular 10-week and 12-week courses in Tap Dancing, Ukulele and performance, for beginners and those with some experience.

Throughout the year there are one-off workshops in writing, drama and crafts. And then there are drop-in classes such as The Sing, a Tuesday evening lung-filling feel-good session, fine art drawing sessions, Yoga Express on Saturday morning. The list goes on... There's lots for families and kids too.

The Edge is easy to reach from anywhere in Manchester thanks to the Chorlton Metro stop. Turn right at the top of the stairs, walk across four banks, up Wilbraham Road and turn left just past Lloyds Hotel. The Edge is on the right hand side half way down Manchester Road. Easy!
