Riot Collective

Riot Collective

We are a group of friends who have helped put on a number of gigs/festivals and parties over the last few years: Valley of The Dolls, Ladyfest 2008 and 2011, Queeruption Opening Party and Queer Riot.

We want to put on more gigs, spoken word, parties. We want to carry on working with amazing local promoters such a Chew Disco crew, MOFO and Pussy Whipped. We want to hook up with the Roscoe Occupation and Network X and Queer Cafe.

Our whole philosophy is based on

DIY

Feminism

Queer

Anti cuts

We want to promote new performers, local performers, brilliant performers

We want to use different venues in Manchester. We want to work with no-cost venues in particular!

We want to pay performers when we can, but we aren't about making money and we prob can't work with you if you are.

We'd love to raise money for different causes - there is going to be so much need at present.

We'll have an email address very soon. GET IN TOUCH!
