To mark World Aids Day, Thursday evening 29th November sees the inaugural Red Ribbon Ball in the stylish International Suite at Manchester's Mercure Piccadilly Hotel, featuring a brilliant line up of exciting performances. Kicking off with a complimentary juicy fruit punch in the lounge bar on arrival from 7pm, a range of displays and short films to enlighten you. At 8 is served a delicious 3 course meal.  The menu includes  vegetarian and vegan options.

Your host for the evening is the talented singer song writer, Claire Mooney. In addition to Claire's very interactive show we are proud to present the signing comedy quartet, The Showbears, who very nearly won Britain's Got Talent earlier this year! As if that is not enough, Jamie Sykes will present an air of smooth vocal sophistication to the evening proceedings, bringing you a wide range of your favourite songs. Then it's boogie time till 1am, going Howard's Way, with one of Chorley FM's finest DJs, Mr David J. Howard.

Of course, there is the serious message to the evening. We are raising cash for a range of community charities that strive to offer opportunities to people with HIV and AIDS, through sports, support groups and ongoing intervention programmes. To this end are brief but essential speeches from George House Trust, Northern Wave And Unison North West - the lead partner in the 2012 Red Ribbon Ball project.

Excellent prizes are gathered for the fundraising raffle. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a splendiferous and worthwhile night of fun, fulfilment and celebration.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the work of the George House Trust (a North West HIV charity), UNISON there for you (UNISON’s own welfare charity) and Northern Wave (a charity through affiliation to The ASA).

Everyone who purchases a ticket will also be entered into a prize draw for free overnight accommodation (courtesy of the Mercure Hotel) and automatically gets access to our VIP drinks reception (sponsored by Thompson's Solicitors) prior to the dinner. The event will make the perfect evening to celebrate the festive spirit with friends that care about life.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are priced at £50 per person or £40 person for tables of 10. The event is open to all individuals, organisations and companies who want a great night out!
