Queer Film Club

Queer Film Club

As a cinema enthusiast there's nothing better on a Sunday than pulling out a few classic films and settling in with some snacks and drinks. So a few friends and I decided the time was right to start our own cinema club: The Village Cinema! Every month, downstairs at Taurus, we will show a film with an LGBT connection.

Cakes will be for sale and there will be an interval so you can get refreshments from the bar upstairs; and we'll ask for your suggestions for next time.

Check out our facebook page , where we'll hold a vote based on your submissions to decide which film to show.

There is a one-off £1 membership fee, and a donation of £1 - £3 for the film. Kicking off with the first episode (or two!) of Queer as Folk, the inaugural meeting of The Village Cinema is Sunday 9th June, doors 5pm for a 6pm start. See you there!
