Sparkle – National Transgender Celebration

Sparkle the National Transgender Celebration - a weekend festival held every July, in the Gay Village area of Manchester. Sparkle is open to everyone who sees themselves as Transgender (and their friends and families) no matter if they be living full-time or just ‘dressing up’ for an occasional Saturday night out.  Sparkle are Pleased that Via on Canal St will be hosting our Official Opening Party on FRIDAY 12TH JULY STARTING AT 8PM.

Tony Cooper from VIA Canal St says- We are pleased that we can continue to show our commitment to the trans community by hosting the official opening party of Sparkle 2013 this amazing event shows the true diversity of Manchester and it’s gay village and we are immensely proud to be associated with Sparkle.  
Via also announces the return of the internet/YouTube sensations QUEENS OF POP for the opening party on Friday 12th July – with over 1 MILLION hits on their YouTube channel and following their sell out first performance at Via (400 people turned away because we were full) this will ensure the biggest opening night party Sparkle has ever had.
