Putting on the Ritz

Putting on the Ritz comes to the Opera House, Manchester next month recreating some of the most famous song and dance moments of the golden age of Hollywood.

This all singing, all dancing production – direct from the US – stars singer and actress Lorna Luft, the daughter of legendary Hollywood actress Judy Garland.

The show takes audiences on a wonderful song and dance journey and features classic music from George Gershwin, Irvin Berlin, Cole Porter and more, with a cast of talented singing and dancers. Film clips of the most popular movies through Hollywood’s history will be played, before the action unfolds live on stage performed by the cast.

The show includes such classic numbers as I Got Rhythm, Embraceable You, Anything Goes, Let’s Face the Music and Dance, Top Hat, Dancing in the Dark, Cheek to Cheek, Easter Parade.

Putting on the Ritz will take audiences on a nostalgic journey filled with glamour and pizzazz, beautiful costumes and spectacular dancing.
