Come with us back to New York in the 1970s, follow Harry Reems (Richard Allen) as he takes us on his journey from struggling actor to porn legend and public enemy number one after the releases of the first ever adult movie Deep Throat.  Introducing us along the way to his iconic but troubled co-star Linda Lovelace (Celine Constantinides) and over 80 other characters, Porno Chic shows their rise to fame and brutal fall from grace as boundaries are pushed and laws are challenged.

Set against the backdrop of the sexual revolution, women’s liberation, Vietnam and Nixon, Porno Chic is a play like you have NEVER seen before.

With a cool new multimedia set design, an awesome 70s soundtrack and some killer visuals by Karl Burge, Porno Chic goes behind the camera and looks at not only the success of the film but the lives of all involved. Domestic violence, alcoholism, the US goverment and of course porn are all covered in this fast paced two act play that will make you laugh, cry, cheer and maybe, just maybe……. excite you.

Playing for three performances only at The Footlights Theratre, Salford Quays on Sept 6-8th, Porno Chic promises to be a night in the theatre like you have never experienced. Featuring original cast members including Richard Allen as Harry Reems (who received rave reviews for his performance), Celine Constantinides as Linda Lovelace and Andrew Marsden as Hugh Heffner/Alan Dershowitz etc. Previous Vertigo cast members Anna Hickling (Noir) and Joe Slack (Fake News) also join the cast as well as new cast members Alex Thompson as Chuck Traynor, Jack Egan as Gerry Damiano and Kate Byron in the multi role.
