BRUCE TAKES A FINAL BOW AT OSCARS

After almost a year in the planning, and over 5 years in business, owner of Oscars Bar, Bruce Ward, has taken one final bow, before handing over the reins to new owners.

Oscars Bar has gone from strength to strength over the years, making one of the smallest bars in ‘The Village’, into one of the biggest success stories.

Bruce brought a unique concept to the Manchester Scene back in 2012, with his creative mix of Musical Theatre, Live Music and Fantastic Cocktails, and his audience have loved it, with many regular customers visiting the bar since day one.

But, after meeting his partner Igor last year, new adventures are on the horizon for Bruce, over in Norway, as the next ‘scene’ of his life gets underway.

In a final social media video this week, Bruce thanked friends, staff and customers for helping him make Oscars such a great place. He also welcomed new owners Andrew and Simon, and assured everyone that the couple want to keep Oscars as it is, and just build on the bar’s success.

What will be the next storyline for Bruce? Who knows, but one thing is for sure, if Oscars Bar is anything to go by, he will definitely be playing the leading role!

As Bruce ends his video, he confirms “There’s no business, like show business . . . Let’s go on with the show”

Bruce... Take that Bow! Now, That’s a Wrap!
