Olympic Torch in Village and Stockport

June 23rd the Olympic Torch visits Manchester city centre. Finishing in Albert Sq, the torch should be in Sackvilla Gardens around 6.30pm. You can see the routes for the relay here... (to see the city centre route choose 'search the map' option and enter m1 3he in the postcode search).

Trevor Burchick MBE is to carry the Olympic Torch in the centre of Stockport,on Sunday morning 24th June, running from near Heaton Lane to Norbury St, up the A6..Your support along the route would be much appreciated.

Calling Northern Wavers and friends..

The Club is also aiming to do a Club group photo shoot with the torch, a BIG Team pic for display and ones showing off the kit for kit sponsors, in Sackville Park, Manchester.TIME IS 3PM.We need as many Northern Wavers as possible please and we'll need a few models!

The team kit will be worn 1st by our Eurogames Budapest Swim Team of 12 - The Games opening ceremony is on the following Thursday.

The Sackville Gardens gathering is also an open event and coincides with the Centenary of Alan Turing.
