The Pride Power List 2016 celebrates the achievements of influential lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people  across the UK and 2 of Manchester's profile individuals are featured in this year's list.

Lou Englefield (number 29) is the Founding Director of Pride Sports UK.

Working across all areas of sport, Englefield provides training, advice, guidance and insight on the participation of LGBT people in sport and tackling homophobia and transphobia. @LouEnglefield

Annie Wallace (number 39) is an Actress, campaigner & lobbiest. From Aberdeen Annie is best known for playing Sally St. Claire in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. She is also known for playing Miss Heller, a headmistress in an episode of Shameless in 2011, for various appearances on the Manchester Theatre Fringe. She is the first transgender person to play a regular transgender character in British soap history.
