More names announced for Pride lineup

SHAYNE WARD LEADS TRIO OF TV WINNERS BRINGING 'XTRA' FACTOR TO MONDAY BIG WEEKEND BILL

Pop Idol and The Voice victors Michelle McManus and Leanne Mitchell join The X Factor's Shayne Ward, Lucy Spraggan and Rylan Clark, and stars of Britain's Got Talent, for a day of family-friendly fun in the Manchester Pride Main Arena

Rounding off a weekend of spectacular live performances, local X Factor winner and musical theatre star Shayne Ward, Rylan Clark, and musician Lucy Spraggan lead the Big Weekend Monday Main Arena line-up hosted by Britain's Got Talent's Father & Son, alongside talent show champions Leanne Mitchell and Michelle McManus, comedy act Bosom Buddies, singers Diva Fever, Melanie Masson, and Olivia Archbold, and the Manchester Airport Choir.

Since winning the 2005 series of The X Factor, Shayne Ward has attained number 1 singles and albums in 9 different countries, and a What's On Stage Award nomination for his role in hit musical Rock of Ages.

Shayne is joined by fellow contestants, hit recording artist Lucy Spraggan, entertainer, television host and winner of this year's Celebrity Big Brother Rylan Clark, Diva Fever and Melanie Masson.

Michelle McManus triumphed in ITV's Pop Idol final in 2003, and scored a number one hit with All This Time.  Leanne Mitchell won BBC1's The Voice in 2012. She is joined on the bill by The Voice 2013 contestants, soulful vocalist Nate James, North East singing duo Diva, and Cleopatra star Cleo Higgins.

Featured in The Choir: Sing While You Work, Manchester Airport Choir follow backing Big Weekend artist Ren Harvieu at the Supersonic charity dinner earlier this year with a special appearance on the Main Arena stage. Britain's Got Talent acts former child star Olivia Archbold, hilarious impressionist Phillip Green, musical comedy act Bosom Buddies and all-male dance troupe The Glambassadors will also be performing.
