SINGER NADINE COYLE AND FASHIONISTA TURNED DJ GOK WAN TO PERFORM AT LGBT FUNDRAISER

The charity Manchester Pride announces the date and entertainment for its fourth annual spring fundraiser - Thursday 17th May 2018.

The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit will be hosted for a second year within one of Manchester’s most impressive and  historic buildings - The Midland Hotel with two brilliant performers Nadine Coyle and Gok Wan.

Nadine, who was one fifth of chart-mauling, award-winning, expectation-shattering girl band Girls Aloud, has already played her part in helping redefine pop and now she has a successful solo career in her own right.  Guests can expect a mixture of the old classics and Nadine’s new material.

Gok was a huge hit at The Big Weekend 2017 and now he will take to the stage as resident DJ for the evening.

He first came to fame in the UK as a fashion stylist and style consultant.  Gok has always been a lover of all music genres, but in particular Gok has an extensive knowledge of 90s vocal house and loves playing DJ sets to fun loving crowds around the UK. His music moto is simple - “Old Skool Always!”

The gala dinner will once again bring together, business leaders, sponsors, individual supporters, community champions and celebrities to raise money for The Manchester Pride Fund.

Mark Fletcher, Chief Executive at Manchester Pride, said: “The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit is an integral part of our fundraising calendar and promises to be a great night with incredible performances and first class food.

“We look forward to seeing more of the business community join us this year. Whilst an LGBT fundraiser, we don’t just welcome members of the LGBT business community, but also supporters and ambassadors who want to enjoy a really good night out, network and help us raise money at the same time.”

The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit exists to raise money for the Manchester Pride Fund.  Integral to creating and sustaining a vibrant community, this fund provides crucial support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people in Greater Manchester.

Tickets vary from individual places for £90 to tables from £850. Diamond Packages are available with tables positioned at front of the room to give excellent views of the live performances. The Diamond Package includes a VIP chauffeur service for the lead booker and one guest, VIP sparkling drinks reception, a table for 10 guests, red & white wine for the table, a bottle of Prosecco complimentary travel to the venue for all guests (from within a 3 mile city radius) and an exclusive take-home gift.
