Vanilla is very excited to be welcoming new resident DJ Lucy stone this Saturday for her debut!

Who is Lucy Stone

Hed Kandi resident Lucy Stone continues to thrive and represent one of the biggest house brands on the planet and as she comments ‘life could not be any better!’

As one half of Zoo Boutique – the UKs pioneering touchscreen DJs (DJ Mag Tech Winners 2011), they have enjoyed huge success after headlining Pacha for Space and Kinkyfunk whilst also being interviewed live on Channel 4′s ‘Sunday Brunch Show’ watched by over a million viewers.

In early 2012 Lucy began her weekly Saturday night show ‘The Switch’ on Hayes 91.8 FM and monthly Twisted Disco mix on Ministry of Sound radio, and it’s clear this London lass shows no sign of stopping!

Lucy has a busy UK and international schedule playing for Hed Kandi, the Ministry of Sound tour – India and other high profile events such and Dekorum at Es Paradis – Ibiza, Ibiza Rocks – Ibiza,The Geisha – China, Paradise Beach – Greece, Tibu Banus – Marbella, Pangea – Marbella, District 13 – Marbella, Playhouse – Ireland, The Secret Club – Germany, Dekorum Ultra Festival – Gibralta, Lumine Beach – Spain, Pasha – Italy, Borgo Beach – Italy, Premier Lounge – Moscow, Orange Rooms – Bulgaria, Numero Uno – Malta, Cherry Club – Poland, Odessa – Ukraine, Pacha – UK, I Love Fashion @ Whisky Mist – UK, Playhouse & Aces @ Mcqueens – UK, Luxx – UK, Maddox Club – UK and Jewel – UK.

Recently Lucy has also been booked on the Ministry of Sound Tour in India and Qatar kicking off on the 15th September.

An unshakeable collector of Hed Kandi, glam-house, retro classics, chart head turners and always the odd surprise, Lucy has become a very versatile performer, something that she believes is crucial in these very commercial times.

Fighting off HUGE competition, Lucy is also a music consultant for Warner Chappell Production Music, compiling music for leading TV shows such as MTV, Topgear, Xfactor, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Gok Whan’s Fashion Fix and Eastenders.

Another acknowledgment certainly worth mentioning is the success of her alias, five time Pacha headliner, official Pacha Tour resident and Dekorum resident – Bam Bo Tang, who also featured in the Channel 5 show ‘Candy Girls’ and the number 1 MTV video – ‘Is that you?’ – Party Dark – Champion Records. Lucy says “It’s always good to have a ‘darkside’. Bam represents the underground in me, the part which digs deeper and dirtier for unconventional music. I bring people’s nights more diversity which leaves them feeling like they got something really unique…that’s once I’ve peeled them off the ceiling first!!”
