Library is Reborn

Following a massive refurbishment of one of the oldest public libraries in the world,the countdown is on - the beautifully refurbished and extended Central Library will open on Saturday 22 March.

The historic features have been sensitively restored and transformed, bringing the building up to twenty-first century standards.

The new look library also contains Lgbt stock, aswell as elements from the lgbt archive on display in the radical Manchester exhibition.
