LGBT Libraries

Manchester Libraries had a wonderful Coming Out Day yesterday in the City Centre. Thanks to our friends at the Lesbian and Gay Foundation for welcoming us and bringing the pink closet! It was the perfect way to launch our Fifty Shades of Gay promotion.

If you haven't heard about our 'Fifty Shades of Gay' promotion yet it's a new selection of the best in LGBT writing which highlights the work of 50 new and classic authors.
The books can be found at City Library, Deansgate and at Chorlton Library.

Authors include Stephen Fry, Alan Hollinghurst, Carol Anne Duffy and Armistead Maupin.

If you've not read Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City series yet, here's a recent video interview with the man himself to tempt you.
