LGBT Foundation Changes

LGBT Foundation Changes

Like many other voluntary and community sector organisations, LGBT Foundation is currently faced with a situation where ongoing funding cuts are taking a serious toll on our resources as well as our capacity to deliver crucial services to our community, and key funders advise that there are likely to be more cuts to come.

We're Here If You Need Us

Like most charities, the majority of LGBT Foundation's income is spent on running costs and salaries. Over the last few years we have absorbed funding cuts by cutting other costs to a minimum but, having faced a further 20% reduction in funding this year, we have reluctantly had to make changes to our staffing structure.

We have lost a number of staff due to contract funding not being renewed, compulsory redundancies and several long-serving staff members taking voluntary redundancy. This inevitably means you will see changes to the services we deliver, and the ways in which we deliver them over coming months.

We are incredibly sad to see all of our colleagues leave. We would like to wish them well for the future and give them our heartfelt thanks for their contribution to our communities over their many years of combined service.  We are however thrilled that each and every one of them is moving on to apply their expansive skills, knowledge and experience to a new role, training opportunity or to start their own business venture. We of course wish them all the very best of luck for the future.

As each of these valued members of staff move on to their new roles and opportunities, we are recruiting for several vacancies that have arisen as a result of the restructure. If you would like to join us, visit our jobs page.
