Learn to Dance like they do in the Movies

The Edge in Chorlton starts two new dance classes for adults next month. Learn to dance or brush up skills you learnt years ago.

MOVIE MOVES is a brand new nine-week course. Tutor, Genevieve Estevez-Baker will teach you some of the techniques and steps from iconic films. Maybe you’ll learn the steps to Staying Alive or Singin’ in the Rain. Imagine yourself as Fred and Ginger, or doing some Dirty Dancing. 

Whatever your favourite dance, Gen can teach you how.

TAP DANCING FOR ALL is a great way to spend a Monday night. Learn to dance like Shirley Temple in her hey day. Whether you learnt as a child, have some tap shoes gathering dust under your bed, or want to try something entirely new, you are very welcome. This is the third Tap.

Dancing Course we’ve run at The Edge.

Both courses promise to get you fit, improve your posture and well-being and help you to meet new and like-minded people. Gen is easy-going and won’t make things too difficult (or too easy).

Each course costs just £54 for the nine weeks and run mid-May – mid-July.
