Joe Tilston at Village Folk Club

Joe Tilston at Village Folk Club

Village Folk Club

16th July  welcomes Joe Tilston

The Village Folk Club is pleased to welcome  Joe Tilston  for his first appearance at the club. Joe is an acoustic singer songwriter.  His music echoes  years  of influence from his upbringing in and around the English folk scene (he’s  the son of Steve Tilston…), with a fresh twist and energy provided by his own venture into punk over the last decade as a member of Random Hand. His style has been described as ‘not a million miles away from Nick Drake’.    Joe’s album ‘Embers’ was released in February and you can listen to a few samples here

Hope to see you for what should be a very enjoyable night.  This will be the last night at the club until September (everyone will be at Whitby Folk Festival!), so come and join us for the last VFC night before, well the next one....

The Village Folk Club is held downstairs in Taurus bar, No. 1 Canal St, Manchester M1 3HE
5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. There is a pay & display Euro Car Park on Aytoun St, 1 minutes walk from Taurus.

Tickets are  £8 (£6 concession) and are available in advance from the website or pay on the door.
