International Womens Day special event

The creative team at Pen Chant are Boasting a stellar all female line up for their next event.

The event includes panel discussions, live music, free cocktails and canapes, an art exhibition, craft fair, DJ's, comedy, spoken word, cabaret, visual art and a raffle. The event will raise money for Manchester-based charity Women Asylum Seekers Together (WAST).

Pen:Chant's curated bill features acclaimed writer and spoken word artist Femi Keeling, standup character comedian Cam Spence,live music from Honeyfeet's Ríognach Connolly and Ellis Davies, Manchester's community SHE Choir and is hosted by alt cabaret live wires Eggs Collective in their first gig on home turf since the success of their television debut - an adaptation of their hit show Get A Round for BBC2’s Performance Live.

The evening is split into 3 sections, catering for a broad array of audiences and includes free activity and an afterparty. 

Pen:Chant is a  Nomadic neo-variety night featuring the very best local, national and international acts from the worlds of comedy, live music, spoken word and performance.
