Huge success for AKT

Huge success for AKT

The Gay Village went PURPLE last weekend, with many bars becoming purple and providing their own individual entertainment and helped to make the village the inclusive and welcoming space that it is today.

The main events included 'Its a Knockout'on Saturday and The Drag Race on Sunday afternoon, which despite the variable weather, both managed to attract good numbers of entrants.

Overall the weekend raised a marvellous £15k.Thanks and well done to everyone on all sides who worked tirelessly in order to ensure its success.

The Albert Kennedy Trust supports lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans homeless young people in crisis. Every day we deal with the effects homelessness can have on young people's lives. We have offices in London, Manchester and Newcastle.
