Hot Space

Hot Space comes from one half of the collective behind Drunk At Vogue…but this aint no disco. Taking over Kraak, turning the lights off (well, bright red actually) and asking Manchester’s club kids to come dance in dark corners.

Hot Space is a slice of New York dive bar or Berlin basement club in our own rainy city. Playing a real selection of techno, house and what they call 'etc', their only remit is to make you dance whether a dance music afficando or not. Manchester’s gay scene is thriving with performance nights like the phenomenally popular Cha Cha Boudoir and Drunk At Vogue (who return at Pride and then onto Festival Number Six in September).

Hot Space promises a little rest bite for party goers to dress up or dress down, leathers, lippy or baggy t shirt. Residents Thom Docking and John Hodgekiss are joined again by Brett Denning, the night plans to put new gay DJ talent in the DJ booth and an underground clubbing vibe on the dancefloor.
