Glee star Jane Lynch's divorce is final - and it cost her millions

Ex-wife Lara Embry gets lump sum of $1.2 million, half of Glee and other TV royalties and more

Jane Lynch is now officially divorced from Dr. Lara Embry and it was a costly split for the two-time Emmy winner.

Embry will receive a lump sum of $1.2 million, spaced over over a 2-year period, half of several bank and trust accounts, totaling $847,485, half of a 401K totaling $315,079 and half of all royalties from Lynch's TV appearances, including Glee, according to legal documements obtained by TMZ.

Embry also gets half of the former couple's $56,810 tax refund and the dog they once shared named Francis.

The three-year marriage took place during Lynch's 'highest earning years' as a performer.

'It’s just money,' Lynch told Access Hollywood last year. '[California] is a half and half state, as well as it should be, so that’s fine.'

The couple lived in Los Angeles but were married in Massachusetts during Memorial Day weekend in 2010. They announced their split almost exactly three years later.

Lynch will appear in the sixth and final season of Glee which will begin airing in early 2015. She is also the host of the prime-time show Hollywood Game Night.
