2011 EUROPEAN SYMPHONICA: THE ORCHESTRAL TOUR
George Michael will bring the curtain down on the 2011 leg of his European Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour at the M.E.N Arena this December.

Returning to the M.E.N Arena for the first time since 2006’s three sold-out 25Live dates, the pop legend will be performing tracks from his near 30-year career alongside covers of his favourite songs from other artists. The music will be re-worked and re-arranged for the orchestra which will accompany George in a new classical stage setting.
Billed as “unmistakably George Michael, but not as we’ve ever known him”, Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour signifies a new musical direction for George, fulfilling a long-cherished artistic ambition.
One of British music’s greatest singer-songwriters and most loved artists, George Michael has sold over 100 million albums. His 1987 debut solo album, Faith, sold over 25 million copies worldwide. To date, the singer has achieved 11 UK number one singles, seven UK number one albums and six US number one singles.
George’s recent cover of New Order’s True Faith was the official Comic Relief single.
