Freshers gather at Cruz

As some of you already know Cruz 101 will be hosting a Manchester Gay Village Student Welcome Event on Friday October 11th from 8pm until approximately 10pm.

This event will be attended by LGBT societies from not just Manchester but from across the North West, and was set up as an opportunity to meet each other and to meet the various businesses and organisations that offer services within the Gay Village. We have been in contact with Universities in Cumbria, Lancaster, Preston, Bolton, Liverpool, Leeds and Chester, so the potential attendance at the event should be fantastic.

As with the Manchester LGBT fresher's events that take place at the individual Universities this will be a great opportunity to present your venue's student offers, let them know what you have to offer them and hopefully show them what the Gay Village has to offer them as a whole.

We will be able to provide you with a table for you to set your flyers etc out on but we don't have any display boards. For things you might want on your stall you could consider having leaflets, stickers or other associated freebies as well as giving out membership cards and special offers.

This new event will be a great opportunity to meet teams from venues who operate around Manchester's famous Gay Village, LGBT organisations like the LGF and Albert Kennedy Trust and of course fellow students from lots of different universities around the North West.
