For the Eccles Gays

For the Eccles Gays

Saturday July 9th sees the Eccles Makers Market return for the second time to Eccles town centre!

The Eccles Makers Market will bring together over 60 of the very best northern artisans, showcasing award-winning food & drink, a wonderful array of art, craft, design and vintage.

This fabulous new event for Eccles provides visitors with the opportunity to meet the producers, browse the stalls, sample the mouth-watering street food, purchase original and highly creative handmade produce direct from the makers themselves, take in the buzzing atmosphere whilst listening to live music and performance.

Whether it is something for dinner, a unique gift for someone special or stocking up on those everyday essentials, the inspiring Eccles Makers Market is a truly wonderful day out for the whole family.

We promise award winning cheeses and pies, locally brewed ales, pates and doorstop sized brownies. Vintage trinkets, trucks, suitcases and one-off finds... Expect to find mouth watering stuffed breads, spicy sauces, vegan treats, roasted coffee beans, gluten free cakes, petit fours, macaroons, alcohol infused Greek olives, artisan bread, spices, locally produced jams and chutneys along with art and photography from a whole host of talented and inspiring local artists.

If it's taster fodder you demand check out the award winning Powells Pork Pies, Western Biltong, Flapjacks from Oat Cuisine, cheeses from The Big Cheese Co and award winning jams from Fresh Berry Baker. There will be bhajis from Country Fayre Deli, Cupcakes from Chula, freshly baked breads from French Corner and doorstop sized brownies from Ian Treats. The pie police will be in pie heaven with black pudding tartlets from Pudding and Pie and the open topped growlers from Cumbrian Pie.

If all that makes you thirsty swing by for something fizzy from 18DBC Wines or pick up some fresh apple juice from Ollies Orchard. If Pink Gin is your tipple pop by and chat to Hamish from Salt and Spice Gins. There will also be locally brewed craft ales from The Pursuit of Hoppiness.

If its more visual delights you are looking for, check out Manchester Artist No 71 Legend Rooms, Controversial art from Statement Artworks and colourful fair trade from Raggie Annes. There will be up-cycled and vintage from Vintage For Homes and handcrafted jewellery from The Love of Lemons.
