First try out for new Gay theme play

A new gay themed Manchester play 'Dancing' is to get its first try-out at Manchester's Three Minute Theatre on 11 August.

Dancing, by David Thame, waltzes its way round what "manning up" means in a gay Manchester houseshare. Housemates are a dancer, a retired drag queen and a one-time porn star.

The play is one of several to be run through their paces at a script development workshop developed by 3MT members and Manchester Shakespeare Company actors and Sue Jenkins' Actors lab.

The event, which begins at Afflecks Palace at 5pm, also includes:

'The Soul Growth' - Bradley Kerr

'The Waiting Room' by Steff Rich & Simon O'Donovan

'The Interview' - John Topliff

The event is listed on Facebook with link below.
