Festive Queer Revue

Cutting edge cabaret performance & party A Queer Revue! returns.

Quarterly cabaret and club night returns to historic Manchester music venue for a celebration of the city’s LGBT community.

A Queer Revue! brings together new and established acts for an anything-goes performance/party at Band on the Wall on Friday 2nd December, featuring a cutting-edge collection of DJs, stage and bar performances from the coolest Manchester and London acts.

Joining the festivities are transgender activist and nail artist Charlie Craggs of Nail Transphobia; tarot mystic Barnacle Beryl; drag performers Eva Serration, Ivy Profemme and London’s satirical writer, musician and performer Ray Filar. Plus the finest numbers from DJs Anthony Crank (Off The Hook, Rebel Rebel) and Rod Connolly (Bollox).

Providing a platform for the night-owls of Manchester’s queer underground, A Queer Revue’s past events have included a Queer Contact Festival special, a live band night for Manchester Histories Festival, the premiere performance of Kate O’Donnell’s Coronation Street-inspired trans stage piece ‘Hayley & Me’, music from Belfast’s Venus Dupree and much more.

Zsa Zsa Noir

Manchester drag pioneer, underground pop star, fashion icon. Zsa Zsa brings her fierce self to the Queer Revue stage to show you exactly who’s daddy… and mommy...

Eva Serration

Astounding vocalist and drag shape-shifter, Eva Serration has wowed the crowd at the legendary Cha Cha Boudoir and beyond and now breaks new ground with two performances at A Queer Revue.

Ivy Profemme

Flying the flag for women in drag, Ivy Profemme’s divine persona combines drag and burlesque in one. Performing for over two years, her stage outings have been described as both ‘liberating and captivating’.

And all the way from London…Ray Filar
